Map the programme before the toilet locations
Stage breaks, food areas and activity transitions can create concentrated restroom demand. Explain the programme and walking routes rather than providing only a total attendance estimate. Discuss whether facilities should serve distinct areas, and include vendors and volunteers whose use extends beyond the public opening hours.
Protect a service route from the crowd
For a multi-session or longer festival, discuss cleaning and supply replenishment with the operational team. Establish when vehicles may enter and how public movement will be separated. Keep the layout adaptable if attendance or activity areas change, but confirm any equipment move with the rental team rather than improvising on the day.
Separate public use from operational access
Mark the service approach on the operational layout and discuss how it stays usable during the programme. Include vendors, performers and staff in the facilities discussion, with their actual hours. If public gates close before the support team leaves, keep their restroom needs and collection access in the closing plan rather than ending the rental assumption at the last performance.
