Make accessible entry part of the layout
When requesting accessible facilities, describe the surface and route leading to them, not just the size of the proposed space. A worksite barrier or event queue can interrupt an otherwise usable approach. Discuss the actual model and entrance details with the rental contact, and coordinate placement with the person responsible for the site accessibility plan.
Avoid a separate, inconvenient destination
Consider how users reach washing, seating and the main activity from the accessible facility. A distant position chosen solely because it is easy for a vehicle may not serve the event well. Review the surrounding space before delivery and keep it free of temporary storage. Equipment availability and suitability must be confirmed for the requested date.
Follow the complete journey
Walk through the proposed journey from arrival to the activity, toilet and washing area with the responsible organiser. A wide cabin does not resolve an unsuitable approach elsewhere on the property. Share any step, slope or temporary barrier with the provider and the person reviewing accessibility. Obtain the proposed model details before relying on an equipment label.
